Visit Austin’s best shopping mall The Domain a beautiful park setting with 100 stores. Or if nature is your thing head over to Barton Creek Greenbelt for biking, swimming and hiking.

 

The Blanton Museum is one of the largest university owned museums a must for all art lovers. You can also explore the sprawling South Congress ave. Home to the quirky store, Uncommon Objects. That definitely keeps Austin weird as they always offer unique finds.

If music is more your thing, head to Waterloo Records for a great selection in vinyls! Don’t be surprised if you run into a live performance. Austin is the live music captail for a resason.

If you are looking to eat somewhere that is unapologetically Texan you need to stop by Dai Due. Everything they cook with to their wine is all locally made in Texas.

Trudy’s 

Trudy’s is a great place for Tex-Mex. With several locations it’s easy to find and don’t forget to try their stuffed avacados!

Kerbey Lane Cafe 

Kerbey Lane Cafe is the 24 hour solution to hunger. They offer everthing and the kitchen sink. If you want pancakes for dinner you can do that or gorge yourself with their famous Kerbey queso.

Shangri La 

If you want a chill place to grab a good beer and have a good conversation be sure to check out Shangri La. It’s the perfect marriage of a beer garden and patio bar.
